Reclamation now decides the permit: a short guide for IUP holders

Coal and mineral IUP holders now have to deliver reclamation on schedule or lose standing on the permit. The guarantee stays locked until the work is formally released, which means the cash is tied up exactly when the work needs paying for.

How Reclamation Finance works

We do the permit work, fund and execute the reclamation, and hold the receivable. Our security is escrow and cessie, a legal claim on the payment rather than the land. We recover our cost and margin once the guarantee is released.

For the IUP holder, the permit stays alive and the balance sheet stays clean. For us, it is a receivable we understand, on work we carried out ourselves.
